Invest in a haze machine and add depth and ambience to your next live performance. With a range of machines available that are portable and easy to use, it's never been easier to create show-stopping stage effects.

What do haze machines do?

Haze machines use haze fluid, which the machine converts into a fine mist or haze, creating a fog-like cloud which hangs in the air.

A haze machine's mist is most commonly used to enhance light shows, providing the perfect backdrop to lighting, lasers and moving headlights. The beauty of haze machines is that their mist has a long-staying power, sitting in the air for an entire performance and emphasising the lighting without flooding the stage with smoke like a smoke machine would.

What's the difference between a hazer and a fazer?

Some of our product descriptions use the terms hazer and fazer interchangeably, and whilst there are subtle differences between the two, they do, however, perform the same task well. Fazers can be used constantly, whereas hazers have to stop to reheat themselves occasionally whilst in operation.

Do haze machines set off smoke alarms?

Although the probability of a haze machine setting off a smoke alarm is less than that of a smoke machine, as the haze hangs in the air, there is still a chance that this could happen. In this case, it may be worth isolating the fire alarm in a building before using the machine.
